After his breath-taking looks and jumbo incarnation revealed on social networking sites, ‘Lagaan’ hero has became the cause of a huge fuss inside market of bollywood. Aamir khan is all set to resume his shooting of Dangal in Toosa village, Ludhiana.

Dangal film is a biography based on real life of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat directed by Nitesh Tiwari. Aamir Khan aka Mr. Perfectionist had sticked up with very painstaking diet to grow this muscular form for the shooting of younger version of Mr. Mahavir Phogat

Aamir Khan ratify the release date scheduled on 23rd December. He stated “We are coming on Christmas weekend. We are not releasing our film on December 16. It will release on December 23, which is a Friday just two days before Christmas.”

Aamir has followed very hard routine to grow this masculine form for the younger version of Mahavir. He said “When I came to Ludhiana, I was very fat. At that time we shot for the scenes where Mahavir has become old. 85 per cent of the film is about his that look only. Now we are shooting for the portion when Mahavir was young.”

Kripa Shankar Patel one of the indian coaches taught Aamir the basics and tips of wrestling for the role of Mahavir in Dangal. He added “He is one of India’s national coaches. He works with the Indian Railways. We took special permission for him as our film would promote wrestling in the country. He gave his one year to the film and taught me and my on screen daughters everything about wrestling.”

He gives the reason behind completing his older age role before younger version, He added “Every man is asking me how I lost weight. The reason is when I started shooting for the film at that time I had finished ‘PK’ in which I had good body. I had 90 per cent body fat and I was very fit.”

“So when I heard the story of ‘Dangal’, the director said that you are ready for this (younger version of Mahavir) and should later gain weight for the older version. But I said when your film will finish then I’ll be left with 95 kg… I decided that we will shoot Mahavir’s older look first and then I take four-five months in which I’ll be having a set goal of losing weight.”

Role of Mahavir’s wife has been played by Sakshi Tanwar and roles of Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat is played by Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra.
